The Westbourne

Well its a large chain type food selling the usual steaks and burgers. However its clean and has a pretty vibrant atmosphere. Its a Greene King pub so I am afraid its a dead loss on the beer side unless you like the usual mass produced lager. Plenty of seating but its all open plan. The place is great for sports lovers.

this pub is absolutely class! just moved here from pompey & its made me feel very much at home! cant praise it enough! beers cheap, foods lovely & the staff are great. a must visit pub if ur in bournemouth. id give it 6 stars if i could!

This pub has the most excellent burger menu I have ever seen.
There are nearly 20 burgers, ranging from the spicy lamb one to a few different chicken burgers and a couple for the vegetarians.
The bar staff are friendly and welcoming and the bar has recently been refitted with a much more modern décor.
Good for small gorups — especially for food and watching sports events as there is plenty of TVs and atmosphere for football games and other sports events

Diese Gemeinde heisst besonders internationale Studenten willkommen und bemueht sich sehr um das Integrieren der vielen Sprachstudenten, die nach Bournemouth kommen, um Englisch zu lernen.
Ich habe es aus Zeitgruenden leider nur einmal geschafft, zum Treffen zu gehen, aber ich kann es nur waermstens empfehlen. Der Grossteil der Teilnehmenden kommt aus Asien, einige Aeltere der Westcliff Baptist Church (in deren Gebaeude das Treffen ist) bringen sich ehrenamtlich ein und kochen, machen Ansagen oder beten. Ein junges internationales Team stellt die Musik und verschiedene Prediger werden eingeladen.
Das interessante an diesen Treffen ist, dass es vorher ein gemeinsames Mittagessen gibt — wenn man mag. Da gibt es dann schon die Moeglichkeit, andere kennenzulernen und muss dann nicht verloren im Gottesdienst sitzen. Dieses Essen ist kostenlos.
Hinterher gibt es dann noch Tee und Kekse.

Lovely pub in westbourne, foods nice, have to try one of their 18 types of burgers. Good place to go for live football matches on sky sports, always busy.
