Wilkinson

Wilkinsons is almost hidden away in the back of the sovereign Centre, but once you know where it is you’re return all the time.
The store is large and has a great selection of items for sale from stationary to household to food.
There are a lot of tills, and my only bug bear with these is that they are very narrow to get through on your own let alone with a pushchair.
The prices in Wilkinsons are very reasonable for a cheaper end of the market shop.
There are plenty of staff around and they will always help you reach items that are up high, or find a trolley for the heavier items for you which is a nice service.

I often find myself in this shop at least once a fortnight and rarely leave without spending anything. It has a large range of kitchen accessories, where I can find almost all the things I need; crockery, saucepans & baking ware, utensils and even electrical items. It has a large section of toiletries, most are at a reasonable price, and there is also a decent pet supplies area. I used to buy stationery here but find that this section has been reduced so it is limited. There is an area for homeware; cushions, bedding & towels, and also for DIY; paint and wallpaper. They have introduced a food section there where you can buy a small assorted of things, reasonably priced. There is an indoor car park nearby and the store is easily accessible for wheels chairs and pushchairs.
