Beer excellent, nice friendly barman; not obviously hostile to gay couples. £1.95 for a pint of Tribute (wuuuuw!), 3 real ales to choose from. The lighting could be dimmed a little, but the music was unobtrusive. Nice buzz and a good atmosphere. Comfy seating and fairly quiet. Can’t understand why more people aren’t in here. but we’re glad they’re not!

If you’re a bit tight on cash this is a fantastic pub, the drinks are cheap and the décor is nice too. It can be a bit quite but worth it for the cheap bevvies!
