This is my local newsagents and has been there forever with the same person running it ‘j’ as everyone calls him. This is a traditional type of newsagents and is nothing special but the welcome you get when you go in is nice — ‘j’ makes you feel very welcome and as if you are his best customer. He sells the usual magazines, newspapers, sweets, chocolate and cigarettes. He also sells a few grocery items like cereal, toilet paper, the odd tins, cat food and the like. He also does the lottery and scrath cards and accepts credit cards and does gas and electric top ups and mobile phone top ups. A very small little shop in the square which is clean and tidy and very accessible for wheelchair users but there are a few aisles inside with the groceries on which make it hard to manouvre round the store.
