My favourite curry house in Bradford. Awesome food, large portions and the largest nan bread in west yorkshire. Great prices and they do a great student discount.

Omar’s is a fairly cheap curry house with massive portions. Curry and rice or naan will come to less than £10 per person. I don’t think they serve alcohol on the premises but you can apparently bring your own. Be warned when ordering the naan, they are massive. A standard naan will easily feed two people. A family size naan will easily feed 4 – 5. Don’t expect the nicest curries. Almost everything on the menu is «special» but I found it to be fairly bland. Definitely a good fill you up for cheap place though.

Omar’s in Bradford is a smallish Indian restaurant which is a staple of the Bradford based student and has been for many years! In fact I used to visit it in 2001 when I was at university there and it had been there a while even then. The main attraction obviously is the price, it’s cheap, with a curry costing four quid you’re not going to break the bank treating yourself every now and again(or more often). The staff are really nice, you can’t order beer there but they do let you take your own in. The take out is good too and very handily placed for the pubs and clubs of the area. So all in all it was a decent curry house if not the cleanest in the world, but hey, I’m still here.
