This is a small post office but it is very well run and very handy for the college and university students. There are about 4 steps to get up to the door to the post office and then there are 2 steps into the post office itself and them steps are quite steep and awkward to get up. While there is disabled access up to the door to the post office the 2 steps there dont allow disabled access, which is curious but maybe there is another door round the back for which i havent noticed for disabled access? Inside there is a counter at the back which is the postal services part which obviously caters for everything postal services does. The staff are very polite and competent and helpful. There is also a separate counter where you can buy sweets/papers/cigs, etc so infact its like a newsagent store too. There is separate staff for this part and they are very friendly and polite too. The store inside is quite cold and basic — there is no carpeting just stone flooring and no decorative items on any walls or anything which makes it quite boring, but, obviously you are only there for a few minutes so this doesnt really matter. The post office does get very busy because of all the students who live nearby and you sometimes have to queue outdoors which is awful in bad weather.
