This is a great pub, food good, beer good, location good, friendly… what more can one ask for!!!

Nestled between the pretty houses on West Street, Harrow on the Hill, The Castle Pub has to be the friendliest pub I have ever been in to in London. Within five minutes of my arrival I had struck up a conversation with no less then four people; OK, I was carrying my SLR camera and all of the conversations were camera related but this just wouldn’t happen in central London.
With roaring log fires and traditional Victorian décor the pub is both charming and welcoming. Great for families (when I was there a children’s party was in full swing in on of the four large rooms) the Castle Pub serves food, although this was slightly overpriced in my opinion, and real ales and is truly a very very nice pub.
