Ray is the best Mens stylist and sartorial expert around. He first cut my hair about 4 years ago when he worked in Murdoch on Old Street — I’d had a series of bad cuts in the past so was pretty anxious about trying out a new stylist. Ray did exactly what I asked for and delivered the perfect Shoreditch ‘blend’, a classic cut of the time. Ever since then I’ve been coming back to see him.
When he set up his own salon in Brentwood I did consider switching (as Brentwood is an hour away from where I live in London) but I didn’t dare risk letting anyone else cut my hair. He helped to develop a new style for me last year (The Westminster — bit longer on top, embracing my natural curls) and gives great fashion advice too He’s not just a great stylist but also a top guy with plenty of chat — I couldn’t recommend him, or the Raymond Bottone salon anymore. My fiancé gets her hair cut there too and loves the place.
