Convenient if you don’t want to travel into Glasgow, but overall the food is not very special.

Hey, the food is OK, and the coffee is passable. But the bar has been raised and there are a lot of good Italians around. But this place always adds the Bridge of Weir tariff.
Every place in my hometown of Bridge of Weir charges like it is a top rated restaurant while delivering reasonable food. Two people and the bill is 70 quid? The two courses and wine just did not measure up for that price tag.

Don’t get my wrong the food was lovely (not blow me away outstanding but just ok) there was anti pasta, lasagne, ricotta drinkable wine and some cheesecake for dessert etc all with a hint of poshness! but I think in such a small village it’s maybe slightly out of place! It doesn’t feel relaxed it would be more at home in a town! It’s defo worth a try but!

Attractive restaurant, friendly service and good food. Would certainly recommend to friends.

Best pizza in Scotland

I personally think this is the best italian food around and I have NEVER had anything but fabulous service by delightful staff. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for the first course (but only when the restaurant is very full) and after that the courses go smoothly. I have been many many times and continue to enjoy the charms of Amarettos and highly recommend it to others.

Worth travelling to if you don’t live that close, Amaretto is such good value for money, genuinely. The set menu for dinner is £15 for 3 courses with the musical stylings of some very talented musicians. When I was eating dinner, I was serenaded by the beautiful music of a pianist, a bit loud and pver powerig but a great change from some cheesy undertone from a hi-​fi in the back. It seriously does make a difference. I liked the taste of the food which seemed fresher than most but there wasn’t alot for vegetarians to choose from, although this is a problem that many restaurants have.

Amaretto struggled when it first opened in Bridge of Weir but now it has definitely hit its stride! The food is proper tasty Italian goodness and the prices are great. You can get a 3 course lunch for under £15 and an evening main course is around £6. Don’t even get me started on the delicious Italian desserts for £5, mmmm mmmm, what’s even better? The delicious Italian waiters! If you’re into the whole tall dark and handsome thing, which I most definitely am! Amaretto also does take-​away which is great if you’re fed up of the usual Chinese, Indian or Dominos Pizza options. However if you order take-​away then you don’t get to sit and ogle the waiters. I’m just mentioning it, but I totally don’t do that myself of course.
Amaretto also has live music nights and they are great. It’s always very mellow stuff, jazz bands or pianists. That’s PIANISTS! They are also converting the upstairs area into a functions suite so watch out for that.

Phenomenally disappointing restaurant.
Since its opening, I have been five times, and each time the service has been utterly woeful.
My record is two and a half hours for them to serve two courses whilst half-​full.
I now won’t consider going to this restaurant, which is a shame, as the waiting staff tend to be pleasant, though hamstrung by the kitchen.

Lovley new Italian restauant! Family owned, friendly, helpfull staff! The setting is lovley and you can time a lot of investment has gone into decorating!
Great atmosphere for a family meal or quiet meal for two!
Always really busy at weekends so best to book!
Really good offers for special ocassions like Mother’s Day!
The bruscheta is amazing, main course portions are not huge but adequte and tasty!
