This is a cute little tea shop with a very homely feel! I’ve only been here once, but I had a really lovely experience there and would certainly go back. As not much of a tea lover, I bravely opted for a pot, to share with my sister(an avid tea drinking). It was as nice as tea can be for me and came in a lovely little teapot! The décor is pretty and the atmosphere relaxing in here, which makes for a nice change from some tea/coffee shops in town, and I could imagine sitting in here reading a book with a big pot of delicious tea would be many tea fanatics dream. The staff were lovely — very friendly and smiley — and the prices were very reasonable too. All in all, a very pleasant experience, for a non tea drinker, I’d say!

This little gemstone down a small road near Mcdonalds and Sainsburys local made me feel so at home. I’m so difficult to please but we came here three days in a row on our holiday to Brighton. I was very impressed by the service. They have a wide variety of teas(I never knew you could have tea with Chilli in it!) and I went for a lovely English Breakfast. I’ve been drinking tea since I was 9, so it shocked me to discover just how good this tea is. They use leaves instead of a teabag, so you also feel a tad posher to use a strainer. One of the visits we had a game of scrabble too. It feels like visiting a relative you really love seeing, it has very cosy décor and a lovely peaceful atmosphere. For when vou get a call of nature, they have installed a toilet in the shed next to the small private patio outside. I was dreading using it initially, but I stepped in to see they are keeping it in a very clean condition! This tea shop is just brilliant. I even had to pop in for a tea and toastie on my 21st birthday, and considering it was a special day my other half treated me to a caramel shortbread slice after, which was gorgeous. If you need to get there via taxi, it’s on Spring street. Tell them it used to be Fred’s hair salon.

Very quaint little place near the town center but also off the beaten path. They have an afternoon tea special for 10£ which was great. That includes tea, a sandwich, a scone and slice of cake. Believe me, this was very filling. The place is really nice and has tables both inside and outside. The weather was very pleasant on the day I was there so we sat outside. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a great place to experience tea. Went there with my daughter while she was at Sussex University.
