Akash is, like so many places, an average curry house with little outstanding qualities and even less in the way of faults. Whether you eat in or takeaway you’re guaranteed satisfaction, especially because the prices are so reasonable. It offers all the usual dishes and a small but good range of beers and wines. It’s certainly worth a try if you live nearby but there’s nothing about it that trumps my local curry place, which is much closer. On a special occasion there are better places to go but if you’re in search of a good deal then it would almost certainly prove to be a good choice.
Also, it’s good for students as they offer a 10% discount to NUS card holders.
