I have to say I wasn’t really looking forward to writing a review of G4 lets, and this is because having to go on their website for their business details, and look at their logo etc… would have just brought back some painful memories.
They were basically awful. We had broken windows, an oven they weren’t willing to fix, general unresponsiveness and leaving everything until the last minute, and between the 7 of us in our house, a small percentage of our large damage deposits back.
I had some really strange items in my damage deposit checklist, but being me, I was lazy and just accepted it. My ex-flatmate however got no money back, and took them to court and I believe the case is still on going.
Never again.

Student letting agencies always get a really bad review which in some cases is warranted from personal experience and listening to University friends. I believe G4 Lets to be the lesser of the evil.
I have heard the occasional mis-hap with some houses which cannot always be helped and have found responsiveness to issues good. Houses are normally done to a fantastic standard when they are brand new which are not always looked after properly which is normally one of the main issues that arise in this industry.
If you do need housing in Brighton for 3 to 8 people then this would be my first port of call. Open from 9 – 5 Monday to Friday except for busier times in the year.
