As anyone whose sat on the sea-front will testify, the most popular sport in Brighton seems to be running. In the daytime you can walk for hours and only see a few solitary runners but between 6 and 8pm there’s usually a steady stream of them flying by. The place the most fanatical ones go to buy their training shoes is The Jog Shop. A long standing business run and staffed by passionate runners, they pride themselves on selling a large variety of training shoes by different brands. Remarkably, they carry everything in full and half sizes and are appointed dealers for various hard to get labels. If you need company and motivation for a marathon, they also run training sessions and stock a variety of spikes and track and field shoes.

The friendly staff were really brilliant, they helped me understand what I need in a running shoe, what shoes do what things better or worse. I can’t say I’ve done too much running since, or not enough to justify the £60 I spent, but I certainly feel that If I stop being extremely lazy, all the good work of the Jog Shop will not have been for nothing. Definitely better than JJB.

Oh, I quite like this shop. If you’re a jogger(or want to look like you’re a jogger), definitely go here. Since the clothes I have at the moment aren’t jogging material, I had to stop by here. They have an extensive selection of trainers, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. While perusing the
