I just love their pizzas. I don’t get them too often — I like to save it for a special treat.

I lost my PizzaFace virginity last night. It was a wonderful affair! After being told about PizzaFace and how amazing it is about a million times, I decided to finally give it a go. I think their menu would be best described as ‘gourmet pizza’ — I went for the ‘Meathead’ — Chorizo, pepperoni, pancetta, pork and wild boar salami, and lamb Prosciutto(ooh la la!) I mean, where else do you get pizza with wild boar salami and lamb proscuttio? I’d never even hear of lamb proscuttio before! The other half opted for the ‘Vesuvius’ — essentially PizzaFace’s own take on your standard American Hot. I just think the ingredients were of far better quality. On top of the amazing pizzas, they also sell ice cream from Boho Gelato — another fantastic independent Brighton shop, that does superb ice cream(you should try their mojito sorbet. mmmm) and you can also order alcohol. I am looking forward to eating my way through the rest of the PizzaFace menu in due course.

Oh my gosh I love this place. Gorgeous freshly made Pizzas, all the toppings are an outstanding quality you can order a Beer or Bottle of Prosecco with your food, then follow it up with some Hand made Local Ice cream from Boho Gelato! pure indulgence ripe for any day of the week or weekend!!! nothing beats it and when you’ve ordered from here no where else will quite hit the spot. Yum. For serious foodies!!! plus they do gluten free and veggie stuff for fussy friends and dieting ones!!!

Amazing vegan pizzas on Monday and Tuesday. We had the MOBY and the OZZY. The ozzy was basically a meat feast and was the best out of the two. We had it with vegan cheese and also got vegan cheesy garlic bread. Lovely little takeaway shop, and even better pizza. Definitely going to return(maybe tonight…)! Update: Yep, we got delivery the next night. This time we got the Ozzy and the Pammy– the Pammy was delicious– ham and pineapple with sour cream. I love this place and only wish London had something this good. We have Basilico but it’s definitely not as good as Pizza Face.

So disappointed. I’ve had great pizza from PIZZAFACE in the past, but my recent order was truly terrible. I could live with luke warm if the flavour and texture were present. Sadly, we got a thick flabby base topped with ingredients that were watery and flavourless. Even the garlic bread with cheese was sorryful. I’m afraid PIZZAFACE have lost customers tonight.

Really love this place. The pizzas are a world away from what you usually get delivered, they seem like a proper meal, made with real care. Good wine and ice cream selection. For the quality you are getting I’d say great value for money.

This place has great pizzas. I think their crusts are made of cornmeal, but I could be wrong. Either way, it’s tasty. Try the stuffed mushrooms.

WOW! Pizzaface makes amazing pizzas! Yes, I know the other reviews all say exactly that but its true, they are amazing. I’ve been meaning to try them out for a while and finally got my chance last night. They are conveniently located not far from my place of work, so after a particularly long and stressful day this seemed like the perfect antidote. I perused their menu on the Internet. The choices are amazing. As well as their regular pizzas and salads they also produce monthly specials. They sell ice cream and sorbets from Bo Ho Gelato, a great little ice cream parlour in the laines. Even the drinks are a cut above the norm. They sell quality bottles of wine and beer, all for a reasonable price, and the soft drinks are from Fentimans and Whole Earth. I plumped for the Vesuvius, a spicy pizza featuring peperoni, Chorizo, red onions and fresh and dried chillies. It had a fair old kick to it but my gosh it was delicious. The base was thin and crispy made from the finest Sicilian 00 flour and the toppings were fresh and flavourful. When you go to pick up your pizza you can watch it being made in front of you. It is then cooked in an authentic stone pizza oven. This truly feels like a little piece of Italy has arrived in the centre of Brighton. They will also deliver, free of charge if you spend over £15. Yes, they are a little bit more expensive than your average take away pizza but the quality shines through. I finished mine off in one sitting and am tempted to pick up another one tonight! Even my Italian colleague admits that they are damn fine pizzas, and that’s something coming from a man who up until this point has sworn that no decent pizza could be found in the UK. This is another place where I plan to eat my way through their menu.

Great wee Pizza place. Its near my house so just too handy! I am not usually a big fan of pizza but I read and heard loads about this place so just had to try it out. I had a pizza called ‘The Woodsman’(I think!) It was inspired by the forest with pinenuts and herbs etc on it. It was vegitarian and delicious! And at £8 not bad value. You can buy a frozen pizza at the co-op for £3 but it would be a poor cousin to anything served up by PizzaFace. It was busy but the staff were still friendly and I was given a chocolate after I paid and was leaving. A nice touch.

BRIGHTON’s BESTPIZZA! I’ve become slightly addicted to Pizzaface, my favourites being the Nadine and the Vegetarian. They’re all LUSH though, with plenty of meat options as well as vegan choices. It’s on the dear side(say £8+ a pizza) but totally worth every penny, with fresh organic ingredients — not your typical greasy indulgence. YUM. View the full menu + prices here:

This place is pricey, make no mistake, but if you value quality and something a bit different(and not dripping in grease) then give it a go. Think takeaway version of Zizzi or Strada but without the 2for1 deals which you can print off any voucher website these days. To be fair, you could probably spend just as much at Dominos but you won’t get the same brand of guilty pleasure! The lady I spoke to over the phone was very nice and kind enough to read the menu out to me(I was too lazy to walk 30 seconds up the road to read it for myself). The delivery took longer than I would have liked though I imagine they have a small kitchen and it was a saturday night. I went for some sort of meat extravaganza which ticked all the meat boxes but was a bit too salty. By the way, don’t google pizza face or you’ll get this delightful image

Amazing. No contest. Real pizza. No spongy bases here. Proper thin bases, with excellent tomato sauce and a range of fresh and delicious ingredients that look and taste like they came from an italian deli counter, not out of a tin. Wild boar salami?! Say no more. I’m dangerously hooked.
