QS (or ‘qs’ as their logo has it) is a budget family clothing store, which sells casual and holiday wear at low prices: prices compete with the likes of Tesco and Asda.
For that kind of money, you’re not getting top quality, and fair trade is probably out of the window at these prices, but for cheap t-​shirts and stuff kids are going to grow out of, or make a mess of, it’s worth a look. I was after some items for my Dad, who at the time was house-​bound and needed stuff that he could take with him into hospital.
Admitting to shopping here is a tad embarrassing — but the staff were pleasant and helpful and the prices were mind-​numbingly low.
