Sky Computers

You get your prints/​copies here but at a higher cost than the other shops down the road. Needed to print one copy but I had to retrieve the file on my USB using their computer. You get charged to use the computer and then for each copy. Had two copies to print and it cost £0.90.
Here’s a tip — go to Brighton Print Center down the road towards A23 for a cheaper price.

It took approximately 3 weeks for the Internet to be setup in my flat. And after the Internet was set up, a television fell on top of my laptop, so I was without the Internet for awhile. During this time, I had to visit the different Internet café’s here in Brighton. Sky Computers was one such Internet café.
My Internet browsing time was usually divided between flat hunting, Unilocaling and random Google searching («extraordinary + chickens»). It’s a friendly atmosphere, and in addition to Internet services, they also provide printing, copying and faxing services. This is a very good place to go to in case disaster strikes, and you are in desperate need to use the Internet.

I first discovered this little London Rd internet café when I moved into my house in the last year of uni, and the internet connection was not yet set up. For about two weeks before term started, I popped into Sky Computers every day or two and spent an hour or so getting all my essential internet admin done… banking, booking train tickets… facebook, y’know, the important stuff! :)
At first it felt a bit weird using an internet café in my own town, but I got sick of dodgy wireless connections in pubs and I didn’t want to carry my laptop around, so Sky was perfect! The rates are reasonable and the guy that runs the place is friendly. They also have printing, photocopying and faxing facilities. I didn’t use the ‘café’ and to be honest I think that was probably for the best.
