Ich mochte das Angebot any two six inch subs for 6pounds. Das ist eine coole Kombi, um mehr Abwechslung zu bekommen. Leider sind die Restaurants in England schmutziger als in Deutschland.

I’ve been meaning to try something other than the Meatball Sub whenever I visit Subway, but that just never happens. I don’t even know why I even bother looking at their menu when I enter. The clerk asks me: «What would you like?» And I look around the menu as though I haven’t decided beforehand that I want a Meatball Sub. I suppose it’s because I want to give the impression of spontaneity(I’ve been criticized that I plan way too much and should be spontaneous every now and then). So if I go into a restaurant(or Subway) and pretend to look at the menu, it makes me think that the other clerk will think I’m spontaneous and that I made my decision on the spot.(It makes sense to me) Anyway, I had a Meatball Sub. It tastes the way it always does. Delicious! And, again, whenever I leave Subway, I end up smelling like Subway, and it isn’t a pleasant smell. But when I eat something as delicious as a Meatball Sub, I’m willing to smell just a little bit.

I won’t go on about the food here because with like most subways it’s pretty standard. The thing that stands out in this particular shop is the Asian guy who works there, he’s a real gem. For some reason he always gives me money off, and I’ve know idea why. Just the other day when I went in and was completely astounded that the sub of the day have gone up by about 30p, he gave me it for the regular price because I ‘was in there all the time’-surely my lack of knowledge exposed my infrequency.

Subway has revolutionised the way people eat in my opinion and the introduction of it into Brighton has been most welcome. I live in the Hannover area and this Subway is my local and it excites me as it means they are creeping ever nearer to my house. I never get bad service in Subway and I like Ross feel far better after a footlong than I do after a big mac for example. I’m sure they cannot be that great for you but they’ve got to be better than Mcdonald’s haven’t they?

This Subway served me well during an aftertoon on 2008’s Pride, when busy enjoying the parade and accompanying shenanigans, I realised I’d neglected to eat(not good when you’ve been consuming alcohol loutishly on the streets of Brighton all day!). I can’t remember exactly what I had — something with a lot of meat, cheese and ketchup — but what I do remember was the excellent service. The staff were friendly and efficient, and in spite of a huge queue trailing toward the door, I only had to wait a few minutes for my processed food feast, yum!

I used to suffer from quite bad insomnia, and, during extreme bouts of this occasionally depressive condition, I sometimes attempted to pass the time by wandering the streets of Brighton, marveling at the manner in which life, and the city itself, seemed so different during the early hours of the morning. Often during these strolls, I’d end up meandering around until I ran into this Subway, which became my early morning breakfast sanctuary. Like the other Subway’s in the area, the food here is nice, the service is fast and friendly, and the consumption of your purchases doesn’t leave you feeling bloated, or full to the point of combustion, as is the case with so many other chain stores of its type.

I’m afraid I’m on the negative side of this. I did use Subway when they first came to this country, but in the last few years, I’d rather go hungry than go to a Subway — its not just this location, but all of them. When you’re outside one, they don’t really smell very nice! Thats almost a taboo thing to say, but for me its true — I think it must be something to do with the level of yeast in the bread, it is very yeasty. Although everything looks good, it doesn’t feel like a positive place to be.

I could write this review in one word — Revolting ! The concept of Subway is great(soft rolls filled with hot or cold fillings) — so I don’t know how they get it so wrong. What sounds delicious on the menu tastes processed and artificial. What should be hot is just lukewarm. Everything is served fast food style making the whole experience quite unforgetable. To be honest you may as well forget good intentions and just get that burger instead !

Its simple i love subway and in a world or fast pace times you either end up eating a fatty burger or something out of a packet because there just no time or anything else, but subway changes all that buy offering you a really nice sandwich made how you want for a good price and most of the food is fresh including the bread so if you need something fast but don’t want a fatty product subway is the way to go. I don’t like fast food at all but if I’m really pushed I would say Subway is the best. You can get a really cheap sandwich with lots of veg and your choice of filling. I would really recommend replacing the bread with a tortilla wrap — delicious.

I wouldn’t normally recommend a fast food venue but Subway are so tasty. And they have fresh ingredients that the customer can pick from. I had a Subway of the day, which was Ham, and the Ham was good quality not processed meat. A salad is just £1! There is so much choice as well. I recommend the Veggie patty. It has courgettes, olives, leeks and my favourite onions. All for under £3. There is a kids pack. This is a 4inch sandwich with a drink & toy. They do wraps as well. I must admit the meatball marinara is a treat and half! Its only £1.99 on Tuesdays. Its possible to sit inside.
