Magasin concurrent de boots qui propose également des cosmétiques. Les prix semblent un peu plus bas, avec beaucoup d’offres du type un acheter un offert.

It’s just a few steps away from Boots, but Superdrug is much bigger and supplies many more products from specialty brands. I was able to get a good deal on Charmin Ultra, which is a definite positive(it’s quite expensive, it is). You’ll find your usual sort of hygiene products: your shampoos, your toothpastes, your mouthwashes, your soaps, your lotions. But what really separates this Superdrug from the Boots is their beauty selection. It’s much more vast and much more varied. You’ll be able to find face moisturizers to settle the wrinkles in your skin, your can find creams to lessen the appearance of bags under your eyes — there’s a big selection to choose from, and as the products are from the top brands, you’ll be paying a bit more. But there’s a lot of variety here, and it’s bigger selection makes this Superdrug edge slightly ahead of the nearby Boots.

This Superdrug isn’t a huge city centre one, but it’s way bigger than the diddy neighbouring Boots branch, and therefore a handy place to have locally if you’re in a need of more choice when it comes to your toiletries and cosmetics! You’ll find all the usuals, as well as some food, but there’s no pharmacy here. The best thing about it is the deals they sometimes have — usually some shape of chocolate lurking around the till area to tempt me! They do 9 packs of loo roll for £2.99 too which is good. And last year they had dozens of reduced easter eggs, always nice if you’re a fellow chocolate lover!

I like this branch of Superdrug: It stocks the same products as Boots at a fraction of the price. It’s small enough to wander round and leave in 10 minutes. And the girls behind the counter usually play fun pop music. Last time I went it was Amy Winehouse. This time, it was The Ramones and ‘Beat on The Brat.‘ There’s all the usual toiletries you need — moisturisers, serums, shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, bubble baths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc — and a great selection of beauty products from companies like Maybelline, Rimmell and Bourgeois. I just got two new lipsticks and an eye-liner for under a tenner!
