A (very) small newsagents also selling confectionery and drinks near Sussex Square.
It’s housed in a former bus shelter, dating from 1900, that was apparently the terminus of Brighton Hove and Preston United Omnibus Company’s route 1. The style — a sort of miniature Swiss chalet — was identical to that of the tram shelters, also from this period — a preserved example can be found at the Rural Life museum at Stanmer.
