As the name implies, what you see is what you get! Simple name, but effective nonetheless. This bakery does not pretend to be something it isn’t — no fancy specials or modern quirks, just an abundance of traditional favourites such as almond cakes, cherry bakewells and iced finger buns. The bakery is situated on a main road to the university and the cosy, familiar smell attracts many a hungry student on the way to and from tiresome lectures. The bakery’s pride in simplicity rather than fancy feasts is why I really like this place. To top it off, the prices are awesome! Most of the delicious delights are under 50p!
