Beast clothing is the best way to spot a Bristolian when you’re on holiday. I was in Sydney a few years ago, sat having a few drinks at Darling Harbour, when a guy walked passed with an ‘Ark at ee’ t-​shirt on. So I shouted over and started chatting to him and his girlfriend. They sat with us for a drink and within 5 minutes we realised we have several close mutual friends. It’s an event smaller world when you’ve got a Beast T-​Shirt on!
Beast do a range of t-​shirts with common bristol slang and sayings, like ‘Ark at ee’ ‘Cheers Drive’ or ‘Smooth the Cat’. When they first came out they were hugely popular and the guys who started it must have made a fortune.
Nowadays they sell the same t-​shirts with a wider range, but also a lot of ethical and hand made clothing. It’s a really great place to buy birthday or christmas presents/​gifts.
Beast are also true ambassadors for the Bristol Pound and are a Bristol Pound cash point. Good to know if you’re ever after some BP notes. I also think they make good presents!
