Is your window sill crying out for some brightly coloured blooms? If so, then fret not — Don Gay’s florist is at hand. This lovely little shop is lined with a host of blooming spring flowers, from snow drops to crocuses to pansies and violets. I happened to pass Don Gay’s the other day and was dazzled by the sensory feast I was met with — the smells and colours of spring were suddenly upon me! What’s more, I was further surprised to learn that the little clay pots of crocuses were only 50p! Selecting a few different shades of the flower, I paid the modest fee and dashed home to save my empty window sill. Needless to say, it’s a lot happier now :)
