This shop has now changed it’s name to Furniture Corner, and stocks so much nicer pieces than what it used to. Tied in first place as the best second hand furniture shops along this road, their classic and timeless stock truly grabbed my attention and if only I had a home to furnish, I would’ve bought pieces from this shop right there and right then.
The shop itself feels very clean and shabby chic, and their furniture reflects this too. They aren’t overflowed with stock, but everything is laid out so they each have their turn as a showpiece, and I really did feel that 90% of their furniture in here was stunning enough to be showpieces.
Think white paint, classic French chic, chesterfield type sofas, boudoir worthy mirrors. Completely lovely and I will most certainly remember this shop as somewhere to come back to when the time comes that I have a house to furnish. Really top notch.

Aaaaanother second hand furniture store on the same road! As if we need another one! But at least it keeps competition high and most importantly prices low. This one isn’t too much different from Allsorts just a stones throw away but I found it to be slightly more expensive.

This shop has two branches, one here on Cheltenham Road, and one up at the top of Gloucester Road. They have a wide range of furniture, all hand made, ranging from small tv units to large wardrobes and extravagant mirrors. It’s all made from high quality wood, and there’s a real sense of high quality craftsmanship. The staff are really helpful, and will make you a piece to order to your requirements. The shop at the other end of Gloucester Road has bigger items like sofa and dining tables. It’s not massively cheap but worth it for the quality.

A nice little jumble store of a furniture shop, with garden chairs, dining tables, cabinets and mirrors. It has a mix of old and handmade items — I bought a mirror with a reclaimed wood surround which they made to order to fit my wall. Staff are helpful.
