Giggsy’s

They’re clearly aware that every second person here is a student (it doesn’t take too much effort, the students are the ones that venture out about one o clock and drift to the pub about two hours after that) and have a big sign advertising their eight pound haircuts. No, I don’t think that’s particularly cheap either. This is Kingsdown, however, and Bristol University students, so that probably explains the prices.
Eight pounds is hardly extortionate, and this place isn’t too bad. More or less just an unfussy men’s hairdressers, really. They’ll get you through pretty quick and do a decent cut. I always struggle a bit with small talk at the hair dressers but the guy here managed to coax a conversation out of me, so I it would be right to say they’re pretty friendly too.
