Lucky Chef

This place used to be a really good Chinese takeaway but it would seem that since they joined the internet food ordering revolutionGo Eat and similar, the food has gone right down hill. I don’t think I will be ordering again. Ordered tonight and was well below par.

‘A new generation Chinese and Thai Cusinie to Take Away’ according to the menu!
I came home one evening to find my house mate munching away on some spare ribs from here (and had sauce all down his chin but I didn’t tell him!). Sometimes it’s difficult to distingush between one chinese/​thai take away and another, and to be brutaly honest this one is no different. It’s nice and tasty enough but it won’t be the best chinese you ever had, but as long as it’s not the worst it’s okay!
The set menu options here are actually quite good — sometimes they’re combinations of things you would never want.
I often judge a chinese, rightly or wrongly, by their prawn crackers. They’re only £1.10 here so a good price but there was something about them that tasted a little different — not in a bad way, just in a this isn’t quite what I expected way. It didn’t stop me eating quite a few though!
