This Mack Daddy’s is much like the one on Gloucester Road. It’s very expensive by hair dressing standards, especially because most of their clientele is most likely young adults and teenagers. It’s roughly £40 for a standard cut. Staff are young and chilled, and most importantly keep conversation to a minimum!
From the outside, Mack Daddy’s certainly grabs your attention. They have grabbed onto Bristol’s graffiti reputation and used it to inspire a hair dressing business which may seem odd, but weirdly enough, it works. They have managed to create a funky and modern atmosphere which attracts the locals. However, I don’t think I have ever seen anyone over the age of 30 in here.
I personally wouldn’t go back. Although they did a mean haircut, I feel the price was a little too high for what was essentially a glorified shampoo and trim.
