Ah Quick Crepes a lovely little alternative food option right in the centre of the city. You wouldn’t want to eat here every day, unless you really really love crepes, but they are perfect for the occasional lunchtime snack or if you want to grab some afternoon delight(not like that!). I am a fan of the classic savoury options, like cheese and ham with black pepper, but they have sweet crepes that are cheaper and some would say a more natural choice, like the chocolate and cinnamon options etc. You have the most beautiful views of the waterfront sat by this crêpe van, and they have a huge selection of different soft drinks, so if you need a quick break and a refuel you should sit here and get yourself fresh crêpe made in front of you. The service is friendly enough and the whole process only takes a minute or two.

Qucik Crêpe is located right next to The Fountains and the Floating Harbour. It is a cheaper alternative for a snack than the Waterfront restuarants, and a much nicer alternative to the dozens of kebab shops nearby. They do an extensive menu of sweet and savoury crepes, and also a selection of cold drinks. Additionnaly they do a few smoothies and coffees and teas which are also very pleasant. Whenever I have visited there has never been any seating, which if you are eating a cheap is a huge inconvience, so unless you want to wear your food for the rest of the day I would suggest avoiding the crepes! However, there does seem to be some tables folded away only for use on a sunny day.

If you’re on the city centre and fancy a quick crêpe(sorry, I can never resist that pun), help is at hand. This crêpe stand sits on the centre right by the waterfront, just by the River pub, opposite the Falafel King, offering a high fat yang to his health conscious ying. There are two choices in the crêpe world: sweet(such as chocolate and bananas) and savoury(such as cheese). They knock them up in seconds then fold them over to prevent you from making(too much of) a mess of yourself. A great snack to grab on the run, especially if you fancy something a bit different.
