Snax is a lovely little working man’s café, boasting a range of cheap snacks and beverages. There is often a real community spirited vibe present here, especially around lunchtime when local pensioners gather in their droves. If you fancy updating yourself with some East Street gossip, I’d recommend you head to Snax around 1pm, purchase a scrumptious all day breakfast for around a fiver and sit and absorb the bizarre tales that are sure to circulate the joint. And if you fancy joining in, folk here are open to input from strangers. All in all, if you like your cafes to be cheap, cheerful and eavesdropping friendly, Snax is the place for you.

Snax Café Restaurant on East Street in Bedminster is alright to grab a quick coffee and cheap sandwich, but no place I’d like to spend lunchtime after lunchtime in. With a quite basic food menu and non descript ‘espresso’ coffee, this place will help fill a hole, but not do too much more. Come here though, if you want an alternative to the street’s chippies and chicken places.
