Spec recruitment is a bit hard to find as its in a residential home. Yes its a bit odd sitting in someone’s lovely home surrounded by family photos but that personal touch also applies to the genuine interest this recruiters has in you as an individual. I was very impressed that a couple of days after registering they called me up with temporary work. As it happens I already had taken a job that day but it was great to know they are on the case.
Definitely recommended. So many recruiters are so false. Spec actually seemed genuinely interested and don’t make false promises just to get you on their books.

Hidden away in a posh residential area is Spec.
The people there are kind and lovely, and have a very upbeat and caring approach to recruitment.
–The Down Side–
Jobs provided are quite questionable, and often for small firms. Furthermore, the period of time the job is, can be usually 1 day to about 2 weeks maximum (for temp work!) And you’ll have very little notice from them, it will literally asking them for work — Nothing. Until randomly «Need you to cover work tomorrow for 1 day!»
