I have decided write this review after I came across the receipt issued to me by this mobile mechanic. Though this review is late, It has always been on my mind. Anyway, I had a bad experience with this business in December 2010. A colleague sold me an N-reg Vauxhall corsa which I intended to use as a run around /project car. I decided to look up mobile mechanics online. The Bristol mobile mechanic came up on my search with about 4 five star reviews(I later doubted their authenticity). I called the mobile number and a young man told me he was happy to come down and have a look at the car. I was at work so he dealt with my wife who later called me to speak to him. Over the phone, he said he had checked it all over and that the car needed a head-gasket change, bumper and 1 replacement headlamps. He said the maximum he would charge me was £200.00 inclusive of everything. So we arranged to meet on the 28th of Dec. He(He should be in his early/middle twenties at the time) arrived with a bumper and a headlamp. We talked and I made him a cup of tea as he set about his work. Midway into his work, he started asking questions about the black car that was parked in my driveway. Naively, I said it was mine and the Corsa was going to be a run around. When he finished, I realised he had not put back the frontal guide behind the bumper. I asked why and he said it was bent. I challenged him that he told me he had checked everything. Then he became aggressive and demanded that his fee was now £250.00. I had to give him because I did not want him to smash up or have ideas about my black car. I was so disappointed with such dishonesty and unethical behaviour. I regretted inviting a mobile mechanic to my home. I then later realised that he also stole the first aid box at the back of the car. You can view the links to see picture and proof of receipt. Avoid ! Avoid! Avoid !!!
