I really like the slug and lettuce now.
I used to hate it being a chavvy haunt and poor décor but since the brand has been… rebranded-​i really like it.
The décor at the one near st nicks is really trendy, even having fake grass out the front with outdoor seating. They have table service which i love as most places don’t these days.
The food is always fantastic and the offers they have on cannot be beaten for the quality you get.
Went this evening with my friend and we both had a huge burger each with all the trims, pudding and 2 glasses of wine each for £25! Didn’t realize they had 50% off your food bill on Mondays… amazing.
We go here a couple of times a month and will be a firm fav in the area for me :)

Had a meal for the second time in 2 weeks. The food is really good value, tasty and plenty offered on your plate. They have a great selection of drinks with the Cocktail Menu offering something for everyone. Great outdoor area that we sat in for Sunday Lunch recently. Service very good.

I have always been very impressed by the chain of slug and lettuce restaurants throughout the country and this branch in bristol has not been any exception. The service is always very quick and the staff are friendly and do not hurry you at the end of your meal which can often happen in some places.

I would give 3 out of 5 stars for here. Most of the food here is quite nice and the staff are friendly.
The food does take slightly longer than I would like to be served and it would be nice to have some nice comfy sofas in there. The bucket chairs are not that comfortable but it still a good place.

Definitely worth a visit; Light and airy so it’s a pleasant atmosphere, a nice place to come if you fancy a light lunch, but don’t fancy tracking down a Wetherspoons or forking out for a restaurant.
They do reasonable chain pub food — with good drinks and food offers. Nice during the daytime and can get quite busy on the weekend.

I always end up going here for a drink on any night out in Bristol. The prices are reasonable, the wine is good and the food is tasty. Look out for their offers (check the website) they often do wine promos on certain days or vouchers.
They have lots of special summer and xmas menus which are good and appeal to what you want each season. I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. The sharing platters are good if there are two of you dining and you can agree on the food. Cocktails are on offer but not that good so you’d be better to go to a real cocktail bar for those.

I have been twice to this restaurant and both times it was very quiet and the service was pretty fast. Food was reasonable if not slightly overpriced. It would be better if they had Sky Sports or a TV in there I think.
