With two good sized pubs just down the road it’s imperative to have a good vendor of food open late into the night. Yip’s is the establishment that steps up to the order.
Opening in the early evening but not thriving till later, Yip’s delivers a wide range of delicious and cheap Chinese dishes. With classics like the Lemongrass Chicken and Pork Balls it’s easy to see why this place is busy. Second to that the Roast Duck is divine here, the Plum Sauce just as it should be — not too spicy, not too sweet. Free Prawn Crackers with orders over ten quid it’s tempting to give the boat a bit of a push. No reason not to really.
