Well I have been to The Maritime Inn and I can safely say this pub is the last of the real old English pubs. Pat is a diamond, she took to my girlfriend and I immediately. She had us in stitches with her stories. I have to say this is the most cosy comfy pub in the world. It is such a shame that the old pubs have all died out now and turned into food first establishments. Long live The Maritime and all who drink in her. We love you Pat.

I cant write a review in one sense as I have never been there BUT after watching Fishtown I must say that If I ever get down there Pats place would be the very kind of place I would like to stay .
I like her no nonsense straight to the bone attitude and it looks like she works her socks off to look after her guests
The very fact that she gives back to the community says loads too i. e her charity parachute jump etc.
I lived in Oban for a while and some places like that can be very clique if Ive spelt that right and I presume Brixham can probably be the same ??
