Meh I’ve had better nicely sums this place up! The staff don’t care, the cakes are just a little worse for wear and the whole place has an old, tired feeling. It’s dark and not well lit.
I asked if I could have my lattes in mugs rather than the tall glasses with the high centre of gravity and therefore higher than average chance of my knocking them over! They ignored me, gave me the glasses anyway and then complained bitterly when I asked them to pour the coffee into mugs.
The fridge made a loud vibrating grumbling noise for most of the time we were there — the sort of noise you don’t notice until it stops and you realise why you are grinding your teeth. On closer inspection, we saw the fridge was being held together with sticky tape and most of the front grill was missing.
The nearest loos are a fairly long hike away.
The coffee and walnut cake was stale… we shan’t be returning!
