Great Asian fusion café with reasonable prices and huge portions. If you’re in Bromley on a shopping mission stop here for lunch. It’s small, light, clean and airy with heavy wooden furniture, like a Wagamama but personal and less formulaic. The only negative is the fruit juices, which are pleasant but far too small for £3 a glass.

You wake up from a trance and find yourself in Bromley. You are, naturally, filled with a mixture of horror and despair, but you should be talking to your therapist about that. There is a grumbling sound emanating from your abdomen and you have a craving for noodles. You must have noodles, and you must have them NOW. This is what Miso is for. Their service is fast — if it were any faster, the food would have arrived before you ordered it. Even during the busy lunchtime period, there’s always space. Their menu is exactly what you’d expect from a noodle bar, and it tastes good — not overly greasy as some places can be. Go when you’re in a hurry.

Miso is the place to go for big portions of tasty food at a super valuable price! You can find Miso’s doted all around the place, this one in Bromley town centre is one of the more popular restaurants for me. There are two levels so plenty of space to sit down and the tables are designed in a bench-like manner so you can fit many people along the tables. It isn’t so great if you like a table to yourself as sometimes they will fit smaller groups along one table. The prices at Miso, on average, are around £6 for a huge portion, whether that be noodle soup, rice dishes, sauce based noodles or any specials. There are tons of starters to choose from as well as drinks and a few deserts. The main menu choice is almost endless with at least 50 to choose from. My favourites are Satay chicken and prawn, Malaysian chicken curry and pan friend beef noodles! Oh and chicken noodle soup! I love Miso! Always the first place I want to go when I return home from university.

Solid place, quick for takeaway and open late! The duck I’ve had here was very tender, everything well seasoned and not overly salty. Will be back.

OK, I had been going here for Saturday lunches for a few years — but over time things have been going down hill, and I don’t think I’ll be going back anymore. A couple of years ago I would have given this place top marks — fast service, good portions of tasty food and reasonable prices. But recently the service has been quite poor(sometimes my wife’s dish would arrive about the time I’m finishing mine). But what topped it off on the last two occassions was the flies. The last time I was there there were so many flies buzzing around I had to leave without ordering. Maybe it was a bad period, but its what I think about now and it really turned me off. I may try again one day, as I did enjoy the food, but if I see more flies when I walk in then I won’t even bother sitting down.

We had a lovely family meal at Miso and if you’re on a special diet then e-mail them and they’ll send you a list of suitable dishes(they sent me a list of vegan choices). The service was quick and the portions were HUGE! All very tasty too! They did make a mistake with my meal but they sorted it out very quickly so it wasn’t really a problem. It was very cold in the restaurant the day we were there.

This is a great noodle bar — much nicer than the branch in Beckenham. Food is great — healthy and good sized portions — great value for money. The staff are always friendly — even when you have small children with you! Fast service is also a bonus.

Miso my favourite place to eat back at home, the portions are massive and the food is cheap but tastes great. With more choice than Wagamamas, and i’ve almost managed to try everything on the menu(and they have all been absolutely wonderful). I recommend the Beef Steak, Pad Thai, Mixed Seafood, Thai Green Curry and the Satay Chicken and Prawn. My favourite side dishes are fried squid and chicken gyoza, and you’ll certainly be full if you have this with your main dish. Food comes really quickly as well.

This is my favourite local eatery for when I don’t feel like cooking and I also don’t have much money to spend on going out. I usually have a rice dish as I find the noodles a bit too heavy. The Char Sui(basically pork and egg fried rice) is a regular favourite. Drinks are a bit over-priced for the small amounts they come in, but as the food is so cheap(generally less than £6 for a big plate of food), one can’t really complain.
