This«super» Tesco is one of the better ones– it’s massive, tidy and for the most part, very well stocked(aside from Sundays where everything is pretty much picked through and gone from the Saturday craziness. So if you are looking to do a full shop, forget it). I’m still getting used to the grocery superstore milieu in the UK, but thus far I’m firmly in the Tesco camp. They have better deals, a better selection(well, the bigger ones like the Burnley location does anyway), and a healthy book aisle. Truly one stop shopping, Tesco is a discovery waiting to happen. One criticism of this location in particular is that they keep moving things– it may not seem like a huge deal, but when you’re used to finding your, oh, minced turkey in one place and then all of the sudden it’s not there anymore, it’s a little off-putting. Also, they stop carrying things every so often. Not just run out of it– just completely stop selling it, without warning or notification. Like Method hand soap and Tom’s toothpaste. Who’s with me to join the campaign for consistent products at Tesco?(Or at least to get them to keep carrying the stuff they used to sell?). In any case– yay, Tesco!

Tescos is right in the center of town and i tend to go there because it is handy. It sells everything from food to diy and everything in between. I think that it is not the cheapest of supermarkets even though they do quite a lot of good deals and if I have the time I prefer to shop elsewhere. I quite often use the online delivery service which I find nto be really good. There seems to be loads of staff and they either walk in front of you or stand in groups chatting, it seems to be their mission to make shopping as difficult as possible. the car park is great as it is undercover and well lit, they will also wash your car for you whilst you shop, and quite often there is an offer where you can get 5p off your fuel if you spend £50 or more in store

This has to be the biggest supermarket in town it is quite literally huge. They stock a very large selection of clothes, groceries and household goods. This isnt my first choice of supermarket to visit but it is handy as its situated just across from the bus station. It has a great selection of special offers that just seem to jump into your trolley and there are very few of their products that I’ve tried and disliked. The clothing section is great with some really nice clothes and not too pricey too
