Well I went to Enrico’s for the first time, on a date with my husband. I wasn’t sure what to expect as the outside didn’t really enspire me. But what a surprise I had. It is the most lovely, special little gem of a restraunt. The food was fantastic, and our pasta was cooked to perfection. The pasta hadn’t been microwaved as mentioned in a previous review, but presented in a hot ceramic dish from an oven.
The staff were really welcoming, but did get a bit overwhelmed when it started to fill. But that is understandable when you are trying to maintain high standards.
So if you want a romantic meal, or a family celebration, this is the place to go. We will defenately be going again and again. As we were leaving the chef who I believe may have been the owner, called out goodnight to us, which I felt was a nice touch.

Enrico’s is an Italian bistro restaurant in the heart of Burton, adjacent to the Octagon shopping centre. Enrico’s is a small popular restaurant, which fills up quickly, even on midweek nights, so its probably best to book. The restaurant has a relaxed feel and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are a decent range of dishes on the menu to suit all tastes and budgets, as well as daily specials. As there were four of us, we chose 4 starters to share — Bresaola, bolognese topped portobello mushroom, battered calamari and whitebait, and traditional garlic pizza bread. An eclectic mix that went together well, the portion size was good and the food was tasty.
Good pacing of the meal meant that the mains arrived about 15 minutes after the starters, all were piping hot, straight from the oven and still bubbling! My Pancake Vesuvio was a great wholesome meal, packed with prawns and just the right size. To round off the meal, we plumped for a dessert, which were all pretty standard fare. Overall a great meal, in a good atmosphere, and as the first qype recommendation I have tried, a success.

This is a beautiful place to go and have a meal. It does not look the biggest place from the outside and the inside is not much bigger but its the personal touch that I love here. You are made to feel very welcome and the food is delicious. The menu is quite varied and you are spoilt for choice, the staff will always give you a recommendation on what to have.

I cant remember the number of times I have been to this restaurant in the last year. The food is amazing, you always get really big portions, the staff are friendly and helpful — nothing is ever too much trouble.
Only one criticism, wish the place was slightly bigger and that the toilets werent in the main part of the restaurant!

What a find! Reasonably priced good food. The portions are huge, the staff are great what more can you ask for. Very small restaurant and gets booked up very quickly but its well worth a visit we go quite often. When you walk in you immediately get a great feeling of homeliness and good food. You are sure to return if you go once
