This is a fantastic venue for live music on Friday nights, I have seen some excellent cover bands here. The food is also very good and the portion sizes are decent, the menu offers a good variety of food at very reasonable prices. This pub does get busy at weekends and has a lovely outside heated smoking area at the back of the pub next to the car park.

a great pub and a great atompshere! the food is always delicious and very well priced! there is a large selection of drinks and the staff are always welcomming and pleasant! the entertainment is always very good!

great pub. a nice local pub to visit at the weekend. i like to go here on sat nights. give it a try and see what you think. plenty of choice.

The food at the shoulder is superb and proper home cooking meals. The quality is second to none and very reasonably priced with the portion sizes being great. There is a good selection of beers and wines. The owners are lovely and very friendly, the bar staff are great too. Friday night is live music night with a different band playing every week, the shoulder has a website so that you can see who is on but it does get busy when entertainment is on so best to get in there early, they have a lounge, bar and outside area which is fully heated and very nice. They also have a car park at the back to provide adequate parking.

Friendly pub. June, the lady in charge, was very helpful and pleasant. Clean room, more than adequate facilities.
Recommend for a stop over.
