Love Nandos could eat here every day. The food is amazing and the staff can’t help you enough. All healthy eating with some nice spices yum. Also licenced so you can have a beer or a cold glass of wine.

Nandos food comes as standard everywhere you go but Bury always seems to be that little bit better! The staff are very good and there never seems to be a major wait for a seat during peak times! One of my bugbears that when you ask for Mayo 9⁄10 you get a little bit and end up constantly asking the staff for another one but at bury the Mayo is filled to the top and that goes a long way when you got a plate full of peri peri chips!

I called in Nando’s on a recent trip to Bury, to conclude a trip which saw me cover a long distance around Greater Manchester for work, I planned to get a good, peaceful, safe gluten free meal, but nothing works out the way you planned, at least in the beginning. This branch of Nando’s is one of those typical stores with rather loud music, which is simply like a nightclub, in my opinion they need to draw a line between a restaurant and a club, as people do go out to eat, not dance and down pint after pint, especially not at a Nando’s anyway, unless you substitute dance for chicken, and pint for peri peri! The toilets here are relatively clean, they have both disabled and standard toilets here, all on the floor so no steps needed! My visit started off with a bit of a kerfuffle regarding the allergy book, as someone has taken out a few pages, for a few times of chicken, luckily they managed to find it for me, eventually after a struggle, but still they had updated it with the new menu, so it should have been all there and not half complete. For people who don’t understand allergy books, imagine your heinz vegetable soup didn’t have any vegetables in! That was how I originally felt at that moment. The service time here was slightly slow and my meal took around 15 – 20 minutes, but still I wasn’t angry at waiting so long, as the food was very hot, unlike most Nando’s where it is just warm and minutes away from going as cold. I ordered Butterfly Chicken with Lemon and Herb spicing, with a portion of chips and a portion of sweet potato mash. I found my meal to be quite nice, but still it is quite expensive here and the average cost is about £13−15 a person with drinks for a one course meal. I was upset to have to pay extra for«special» sides, like the sweet potato mash, as it didn’t say this on the menu, and honestly it was just«okay», and was nothing special to warrant paying extra for. My meal in general was quite nice, as mentioned before it was very hot and was reasonably good quality, although my chicken was bland in some areas(the flavour could have been distributed better) The staff here seem nice and it is quite a nice store, but due to it seeming more like a bar, a nightclub rather than a family restaurant due to loud music, and some issues with pricing(don’t get me started on the iced tea) and the allergy book, I feel the highest possible rating for here is 3 stars.
