Ce pub est tellement sympa ! Pas vieillot, déco sympa.
Vue sur Parker’s Piece, à l’écart de la rue principale, ce pub sur deux étages est vraiment cool. Très bruyant en soirée, il y a du monde !
Ils diffusent le sport il me semble, servent à diner (très bon burger par ailleurs), peuvent privatiser une partie de l’étage sur réservation, servent des cocktails en plus de la bière, du cidre et du vin.
Bref, je vous recommande vivement!

Great beer. Great (if wrongly advertised) food.
Most important first: the beer. The beer was ace. (Yes I said ace). Great variety. The Pilsner was really good. As were the Meantime offerings. There were many many more.
To clarify on the food: the beer and meat box, whilst awesome, did not include beer. But it was still awesome. Perfect for eating whilst meeting friends. Variety of food. Great for grazing. The pork crackling was exceptional.
The service was decent. Got served quickly. I left around 10pm on a Friday and this was when it started picking up it seems.
I would definitely go here if you want a decent beer and food.

Had a large meal with my wife during a very not busy holiday afternoon. We ordered 3 entrees; intending to take portions home.
We came excited because a friend had recommended the place because they have great burgers he said.
Of course I ordered the burger as its my favourite food. I always order it medium rare. They said they couldn’t do that because of «regulations» so I ordered medium.
The burger came out black, hard, and charred. Like a toddler cooked it!
I took the rock hard patty back to the very young manager and he seemed to think this was normal.
Apparently this burger was far beyond WELL DONE.
I like the look and f the place and will go back, but will not go back to eat.
