ARC is a quaint and tidy charity shop on the quieter end of Cowbridge Road East, with all proceeds benefitting Arthritis Research UK.
From Barbies to Bratz dolls, this particular charity shop has the best selection of children’s toys I’ve seen; it’s worth a look inside as they’re not all packed in the front window display.
ARC is better than most when it comes to stocking accessories like jewellery, scarves and shoes. There’s also a wide selection of vases and DVDs which are worth a browse as well. Scarf fanatics will enjoy their varied range of delicate neck drapery on offer — some of them appear like they’ve never been worn.
For any Cardiff residents in the midst of a clear out: at the moment, the volunteers at ARC are asking for any unwanted stamp and foreign coin donations, as well as any old mobile phones (ARC have a scheme where they can earn money on any donated mobiles).
