I’m not much of a coffee type of person to be honest; I don’t care much for the taste. Thus, visiting coffeehouses is typically not my scene although I do respect how coffee is almost a religion and going to a good coffee shop is like a religious pilgrimage. Atmosphere: One of the great things about this place. It’s decently large, spacious, and overall gives off a great vibe. There’s plenty of seating, all comfy, and despite the constant buzz it never gets too hectic or overwhelming. Outfitted with high ceilings but cozy corners for peace and quiet, Coffee#1 sure gives off a great ambiance. Customer Service: Nothing too extravagant. One thing I noticed is that when I visited, there was not a single male working. Was that on purpose? LOL. Also, despite the long queue I have to give props to the employees for taking and finishing orders efficiently. You don’t even notice the line. Food /Drinks: Like I said, I’m no coffee snob so I have no idea if the coffee is good here. I ordered«The Bounty», large, which set me back £3.10 and in return I got a delightful coconut hot chocolate with chocolate flakes. I passed on the whipped cream and chose skim milk as well. The drink was very satisfying and delicious, though I do think that maybe £3.10 is slightly overpriced for hot chocolate. However, I can’t complain too much seeing as how my drink really hit the spot. They also have a wide variety of food available if you’re feeling hungry. I didn’t go for anything, but with all the wonderful snacks on display I can’t say I wasn’t tempted! — I’d be happy to make a return visit to Coffee#1, even if I’m not much of a coffee girl. The atmosphere is great, there’s plenty of non-caffeinated drinks on offer, and snacks to boot. Oh yeah, and did I mention the free Wi-Fi?
