I found the clothes in this store to be very frumpy. Just because women hit middle age doesn’t mean they need to dress like this, nor should they look like mutton dressed as lamb. M&S has a much nicer selection of clothes.

I, Like most women out there still go shopping with my mum. She’s a stylish lady but the clothes in New Look don’t always do her many favours.
Dash is a store for the more mature lady and my mum likes it, and I have to agree that the clothes are flattering, feel lovely and aren’t really dowdy or boring either. The staff can’t do more to help, and everything is pretty much good value for money though it is a little bit more expensive than somewhere like BHS (another one of mums favs).
Its not fashion for the young, but its a really good shop to have.
