They offer great, friendly and impartial advice on products, offer a great turn around speed and a very competitive price. The only place in Cardiff I’ve found who do more specialist film types at non inflated prices. The man with the beard (sorry I’ve forgotten your name!) went above and beyond helpful every time I’ve placed an order or just popped in with a question. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is a magical place. My mother inlaw somehow managed to formatt her SD card whilst still in the camera and hence all the images deleted — some of the images were irreplacable. Well so I thought — the guys here worked their magic and got them back for her!
The service was second to none — I can not thank or reccomend them enough!!!

Agfa is one of the largest print developer stores in cardiff. They open well in advance of any other print processing company and have the all important 24hours turn around time for film processing.
The store has all manner of accessories and printing onto mugs, canvas and large blow up prints. They have slide processing, gift cards and quick printing from USB sticks or CD’s.
The staff is knowledgeable about print services and are helpful. Lab quality prints are always impressive but Agfa like most print shops are coming under competition from home printing, which can now easily beat lab quality prints with the right equipment.
If you are looking to save on digital prints, excess printing can reduce the cost especially at the 6×4″ size.

This photo printing shop offers excellent value and a very fast service, with standard sized photos printed instantly and 8×10, 8×12 and 12×18s in about 5 minutes.
You just drop in with your phone, USB stick, memory card, or CD of images and they can print from that.
Other services include old-​fashioned film processing)(30 minutes for some films, and same day service for others); printing onto canvas; 35 mm slide writing from digital files; passport photos; studio photography; photo gifts (placemats, mugs, keyrings and the like); and photo restoration if you have old prints that are damaged.
Just look out for the bright red sign on City Road on the corner with Kincraig Street and you’re there!

Better than Boots and far more affordable, ladies and gentlemen, meet the Agfa Digital Centre/​Digital Photo Centre/​Express Imaging.
Whilst it seems to collect names like they’re being rationed, the Agfa centre is one of the best places for photographic commerce in the city. Digital cameras and Facebook are all well and good, but sometimes you just want an actual photograph in your hand, and not just on the screen. The Agfa centre offers a digital printing service using a CD, DVD or a USB pen; simply go in, drop off the pictures and return half an hour later to get your freshly developed photos.
Whilst you can get the same service in Boots, Agfa has better opening times, meaning you don’t have to wait until the weekend to get them developed. On top of this, the staff are eminently helpful and knowledgeable about their field and are always willing to discuss photography with customers.

The Digital Photo Centre on City Road is also known as the Agfa Image Centre as well as Express Imaging, depending on where you are looking for information! It’s confusing! At least the services that they provide are a little bit more straightforward!
They are essentially a full service digital and SLR photography specialist, offering a 30 minute photographic service, films converted into CD images for as little as £0.99 and a same day service for black and white images. They also carry a lot of photographic stock and peripherals. The staff are really knowledgeable, and can advise on a broad range of requirements. They assist amateurs and professional photographers alike, their prices are really reasonable, and they are open when you need them to be! This is a great little shop!
