There was a train strike yesterday so the centre of town was quieter than a rainy sunday, I love the products this place sells it feels like I’m buying something a bit more special, i felt sorry for the girl working her shop was spotless she was keen to engage with me even offered me some fruit tea but she had nothing to do with no customers. Maybe we should ban cars and encourage free public transport?

Fast becoming a familiarity in every cosmopolitan person’s bathroom, L’Occitaine is a great company providing lovely beauty products. Claiming to encapsulate the essence of the French countryside, the smells released by the wonderful selection of products characterise this small, stylish shop. With a great selection of shower gels, soaps, moisturisers and scented candles, this is a thoroughly appealing shop for all those who like to treat themselves. I have purchased a number of products from this store, in particular the male shower gels, which feel fresh and cleansing. The attractive bottles they come in potentially help raise the appeal, but the feeling of high quality during use is unmisssable. Typically, with high quality comes higher prices, and L’Occitaine is no exception. Having said that, the prices aren’t extortionate, and given the wonderful nature of L’Occitaine goods, they are worth it.

Slowly, yet surely, L’Occitane is taking over a little piece of the world. But this isn’t a tragedy, like when McDonalds does it. No, we should be celebrating the increase in L’Occitane’s popularity! There should be banners and lavender-smelling bubbles. L’Occitane offers some of the most luxurious and high-quality beauty products on the market. They sell a range from cleansers and moisturisers, to candles and incense — and have just released a small range of foundations. Their products use natural ingredients; cherry blossom, verbena and lavender to name a couple. In the last few years they’ve worked their way to national recognition, probably just on smell alone. The shop in Cardiff(finally, after putting up with a little stand in Howells for years) is beautiful. It, like their products, oozes quality and simplicity. A lovely place to peruse in, although dangerously tempting.
