Matalan is a very large shop you could almost get lost within it is so big with many different sections of clothes for all sorts of occasions for all kinds of cheap prices. However, I often it difficult to find many that I like, for a good price that will fit me comfortably and that will look good on me.
The staff are friendly enough and Matalan is based on Newport road in the city of Cardiff.
The number 44 and 45 buses are the best buses to get from the town centre in Cardiff.
I recommend this shop to all who love a good bargain…

This shop clothes shop has been created upon an idea with a straightforward and a revolutionary concept. The very thought that if they kept out of the town centres of places within the world then their spending would be lower and then the customers would gain more benfit from their expenses also.

Most people I know either love it or hate it. I personally seem to go through phases and sometimes find they have really great stuff and other times I think its just awful. Whatever I think I have found the price of clothes is creeping up now and you won’t find many of the Primark value clothes here.
What I like about this shop is that its out of town and has lots of parking. Thats useful when buying homeware items that you wouldn’t want to be carrying. Its also very, very big and has quite an impressive range of clothes. It does kidswear, menswear, plus sizes, workwear, a fashion section, sportswear, lots and lots of shoes, underwear, everything really.
As I say fashion is a bit hit and miss but its worth a look.

matalan is a large warehouse shop selling clothes and household items. There is a large range of clothes and some are good and others are quite poor quality but they are all very cheap.
The household items are a mixture too. Some things seem very expensive for the type of shop it is and others are good value.
You need a matalan card to buy anything but they give you one at the till anyway so all a biy pointless.

A very large store stocking loads of clothes and other things such as homeware, and all at cheap prices. Not my favourite shop to go for clothing as its all just basic and not very fashionable. But cheap prices do, obviously, attract alot of people to the store.

Friendly staff, spacious store, amazing value clothing! Great for basic tshirts.

Selling a large number of great value clothes for men & women, as well as homeware. The clothes here are good value & fashionable. The homeware is very modern & well priced. You have to have a matalan card to shop here, the card is free, but with this card you dont earn points or anything like that, but it is a good value clothing shop.
