I, like everyone else these days it seems love Nando’s. It’s an acceptable brand of fast food. Probably just as bad for you and free top-ups on fizzy drinks can’t help either! The food was great here, with good sized portions as you’d expect and in fairness, I’ve never had a bad Nando’s anywhere. I was left impressed by the service here though. The waiter was a good laugh without being irritating or unprofessional in any way and wasn’t so in our face that it was intrusive or too much at all.

Chicken? Served in hot sauce? With fries? And bottomless wells of frozen yogurt?! Oh. Hell. Yes. Nando’s has always been one of my favourite«lunchtime» restaurants. You know the ones I mean; the restaurants that are halfway between 3 course kinds of place and McDonalds, where everything is cheap and slightly processed, but still very edible and you get knives and forks with your meal. Nando’s is one of my favourites due to the speed of service; there’s no waiting for staff to come sort you out. You just order at the till and it gets brought to you as soon as it’s ready, which is refreshing as there’s no pressure to order with a waiter looming over you. I’m not too much of a fan of the location, however. I’m not sure why, but eating food in a shopping centre makes me feel like I’m in an aquarium and everyone’s judging me. It must be the way I’m inside, gorging myself on the remains of a dead bird whilst they’re outside going about their business. Either way, it’s the reason I won’t be heading back to this Nando’s anytime soon. If you don’t share my weird aquarium tic, then by all means, try this place. It could be fantastic for you.

I had never been to a Nando’s before and was always intrigued by what they had to offer. Being allergic to peppers meant that I never really felt the urge to pay out for ‘plain’ chicken. But luckily I won some vouchers so I decided to give it a go. The staff were very friendly and explained the ordering system to us. I went for a plain chicken burger(which still comes with a nice seasoning) and loads of sides. My friends went for wraps and pittas with sides. The food was very nice — but without having had the sauce I’m not sure if at full price it would have been such great value for money. One big bonus is the bottomless refill drinks. Hurrah! Especially as the food they serve is spicy. I’d recommend this restaurant for couples and small groups as I’m not sure where they’d seat a large party. Oh and don’t try to eat in a hurry and make the cinema 20 minutes later — the food’s far too filling!

I too am a massive fan of Nando’s and this is the best one i’ve been to in a while. The layouts really good and we managed to get seats looking down on all the shoppers. We had a really relaxing and pleasurable experience. Service was excellent, our waiter was really attentive and funny. The food came quickly and was really well cooked. The sweet potato mash was better than ever and the chicken quarter was pretty big. I can’t say a bad thing about this Nando’s.

I was so incredibly disappointed by this Nandos because I am normally a huge fan of their restaurants. There are two others in the area — both of which are brilliant, where the service is always spot on. I came here yesterday for lunch with the boyfriend and I found the whole experience to be a let down. The service wasn’t very good, there were no knives and forks available. When more were cleaned I looked at my knife and realised that it was dirty. There were no napkins. My food, when it came(having taken a fair amount of time for Nandos), wasn’t hot. What was that? No, Nandos. If that had been my first time there I wouldn’t have ever gone back.

This Nandos will be the newest of three in the CF10 postcode. There will be a time when all that is available you is coffee and chicken… I like the sound of that actually! Nandos is a regular haunting ground of mine and several of my chums. I only ever get one of two things which depends whether I’m eating in or not. The take away option will always be the chicken platter than comes with… Ding ding ding, that’s right a fair bit of chicken with chips. I do believe it is the same price and same menu whether you do eat in or out. However, if me and McLovely are doing the date thing then we will have the sweet potato mash(Which was a little cold unfortunately this time.) and 5 spicy wings with a side order of fries. The chicken, as usual was fantastic. Nice and spicy, slightly crispy skin and tender on the inside. For that, without drinks, will take you to around the £10 mark which I feel is great for the quality food. The staff were fine there, nice but nothing out of the ordinary. All in all a nice meal was had and I know I’ll be back at some point.
