The word tumbleweed springs to mind –the only I found myself at this station is because I had walked from the city centre to the ASDA just around the corner and then couldn’t be bothered to walk back with my shopping. There didn’t appear to be any member of staff so I just waited for the train to take towards the city centre and got on. I would say the walk to this area near the station from the city centre is around the 30 minute mark so it can be quite useful. I guess it’s nice to know it’s there if you need it but really there’s no real reason to be at the station.

This is another one of those slightly windswept and barren local stations around the Cardiff area. There is a raised network of rails, so these stations really are open to the elements all throughout the year. But there really is very little reason to ever get on or off at this station unless you’re going to a football match in Cardiff City Stadium. If this is the case, then you’ll be battling a thousand other fans of football to squeeze onto the platform and, eventually, into the carriages. This area of Cardiff really is only a 10 – 15 minute walk away from the city centre, so I recommend avoiding this station unless you really don’t feel you can walk.
