Well firstly I have to stay the guys working here are really great, very knowledgeable and helpful. I went in there knowing I wanted to go away for a year and had no idea of my options and they talked me through all the possibilities.
I like that they have world maps on the desks so you can remind yourself of where places were. You can also ring and book a time slot to save waiting around.
On the downside it seems STA only offer BA/​Quantas round the world tickets and this isn’t the cheapest option. They also try and sell you their insurance which is an extortionate amount plus all their own trips, some of which are good value, others not so much.
I understand its an easy option and great if your 18 and its your first time away. Just a lot cheaper to do it yourself.
