A Catholic themed College and they have a Catholic priest that attends the college for the religion purposes of teaching. They even do trips to Africa: they judge you on what experience you’ve had in the past relating to building work, and teaching work. Nearly all of the teachers are excellent in their knowledge of their chosen subject to teach, but I found that the English department where rubbish in organisation, what we learnt and who taught us. They did not know or understand enough about Dyslexia when I was there, they may do now. I found Coleg Glan Hafren was better equipped within this matter. My tutor was very helpful and support I got on hugely well with him as did my parents when they met at parents evening, here and there. I recommend the Media course as I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very interesting. I felt the teachers became more like friends and it was the first time in a long while where I really loved my class mates and had fun learning. I came out with the knowledge of many things from just a year and was sad to leave.
